I had to move abroad from Vienna to Rome and the moving has been discussed with the company and agreed for the 26th of July 2024 with a notice period of three months of back and forth communications via E-mail and a minimum of 30 days in advance since I have accepted their offer. Despise that, during all June and July -I suspect, because of the summer vacation period - the communication with their office was extremely difficult and till the last minute I felt unsure about the actual situation. The day before the moving the employee in charge of the whole thing reached out all of a sudden asking me if I have decided a date for my moving. The date and hour have been already decided with many days of advanced - as I explained before - in our previous E-mails. Clearly this shocked me very much ad made me panic!!Besides the company did not handle the moving well, even on the day of my moving, since they sent two people who were 'partner associates' (not directly employed in the company) and both of them were not able to talk any of the needed languages (nor German, nor English or Italian) to manage even the simplest info-exchange and basic communication with me. In order to fix the issue, after I phone called them, they sent an employee last minute, with whom I could communicate in German! he helped with the loading, too. But I was disappointed, because they did not add the loading service for Italy, instead they arranged only the transport and the driver. They did not even ask if I had needed this additional service. At least they did not add the service in the final costs, but it was a mess for me to organise the loading once they reached the final destination and all of this caused me a lot of additional stress.
